JAC Travel Scotland was established in January 1993 as a division of JAC Travel Ltd. Located in Edinburgh, JAC Travel Scotland Ltd has its own board of directors and is incorporated into the JAC Group along with JAC Travel Ltd and JACOB Ltd.

Iain Limond Managing Director
Since 1996, Iain has been responsible for the management of JAC Travel Scotland. In addition, Iain is active in the wider tourism sector serving as a non-executive Director with the Scottish Tourism Forum, the voice of the tourism industry in Scotland. Iain is also an active member of the Tourism Committee of the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce and a member of the steering group for the Tourism Research Network. A graduate of the University of Glasgow and member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, Iain’s career in commerce began with HMS Personnel Services in 1986 from which he worked in various HR related posts before joining JAC Travel Scotland.
Karen Robertson Director
As a specialist in Group Travel, Karen has over 15 years tourism and management experience, joining the team at JAC Travel Scotland in 1999. Working initially on operations management, Karen progressed to overall responsibility of the Group Travel division and has held a directorship since 2004. In addition to her management of Group Travel, Karen also leads Product and Brand Development across the business. A language graduate of Edinburgh University, Karen’s career began in outbound tourism before joining JAC Travel Scotland. In addition Karen has an interest in tourism education and has lectured in various educational institutions in both Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Andrew Uttley Director of Sales & Account Development
Andy has worked in tourism since 1995, having graduated with an MSc in Tourism and Hospitality Management from Napier University in Edinburgh. Initially he worked abroad for an Adventure Tour Operator and then in London for a wholesale Tour Operator before returning home to join JAC Travel Scotland in 2002 as a Sales Manager. He then became Head of Sales and Account Development before becoming a Director in 2008. Andy has a passion for Scotland and enjoys selling his homeland as a tourism destination to clients from all over the world.
Rikke Sode Head of Contracting
Rikke has been with JAC Travel Scotland since 2004, initially joining as an Account Development Executive, she quickly progressed to the position of Contracts Manager and is now Head of Product. Prior to her career at JAC Travel Scotland Rikke worked in the Hospitality Industry in Copenhagen for 10 years where she also gained a Hotel & Catering Management Degree. In addition to her heading up the product team Rikke also takes a keen interest in sustainable tourism and is heavily involved in JAC Travel Scotland’s green scheme.
